About the event
Songs of Peace explores the many facets of the term Peace, the ‘absence of war’ being only one. Peace can mean freedom from oppression, disorder, or civil disturbance. Peace can also infer a feeling of security, tranquility, and emotional calm. Such a powerful word in all its connotations. Each meaning of the word striking to the very core of who we are as humans. A stellar cast of performing songwriters are gathering to share their musical reflections on Peace. Artists include Gary Malkin, Bruce Coughlan, The Stone Poets,  Marcus Mosely and Tatiana Speed.Â
This beautiful event is OUTDOORS and under the stars in The Campus Hub's Peace Garden venue. You may attend in person or stream the event LIVE. If you're joining us in person, please bring a jacket and blanket with your favourite beverage.. If you're going to attend online, you will receive the stream link by email after you subnit your donation.Â
